Man arrested in northeast Oklahoma following crime spree

On Thursday, February 15, officers from the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office and  the Bernice Police Department placed Dylan Smith under arrest.

During their investigation, they learned that Smith stole a vehicle in Rogers County and drove it to Mayes County where he stole a church van that he drove to Delaware County before getting it stuck.

He later stole another vehicle in Delaware County and, while attempting to flee, drove through the gated entry at the Grand Tara community in Cleora before fleeing on foot and being arrested.

Several vehicles were located and recovered.

Smith faces multiple felony charges.
