Eastern Shawnee Wellness Center event encourages sports, not drugs

The Eastern Shawnee Wellness center is having its “Honor Our Youth” event today (Saturday).

The event features J.R. Conrad, NFL professional football player, as well as college and high school basketball players.

They’ll be encouraging area youth to participate in sports – not  drugs.

The Wellness Center is located on Highway 10/10 C behind Outpost Casino.

The event lasts until 7 p.m. today.
