Law enforcement searching for Riverton man for parole violation
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department has issued an alert for a man from Riverton after he reportedly violated parole.
NewsTalk KZRG reported on May 17th of last year that Ferguson took shots the previous day at a family member who was not injured,
Ferguson later was found hiding in Webb City. He was later extradited back to Jasper County. 
The Cherokee County Prosecutor’s Office charged him with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder, Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Assault, and Criminal Threat.
Anyone with information on Ferguson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department.
