Grove Public Schools proposing $129 million bond issue

A major bond issue will be decided by voters in Grove, Oklahoma next Tuesday.
Grove Public Schools is proposing a $129 million bond – the largest in district history.
If approved, it will result district-wide upgrades to plumbing, HVAC, windows and playgrounds as well as a new junior high and an Agricultural Education complex and storm shelters that double as activity centers.
Passage could face some challenges.
Approval would increase the district’s property tax by 10 percent annually.
