Fatal traffic accident in Stone County

A traffic accident in Stone County took the life of a man from Kimberling City late Tuesday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 59-year-old Steven L. Shook died after his car went off James River Road in Kimberling City and hit a tree late.

He was pronounced dead at Cox Hospital in Branson.
